Once a month I teach a technique class. I call it TAC-Niques. Participants learn 6 techniques by making a sample card for a rolodex box.
Each person goes home with 6 technique cards.
The back of the card includes the supplies needed and the directions for the technique.
This particular technique is called Dazzling Diamond Dust. It is very easy and truly "dazzling". Here is a close up of the card to give you an idea.
Here is a very quick card I made using the technique. As I look at it now, I think it needs a flower embellishment or something added, but we'll try that next time.
The "dazzle" is a little hard to see in the picture. You will just have to try this one on your own. Here are the supplies and directions:
You will need: Versamark(S-1179 p. 116),Turquoise Iridescent Embossing Powder (S-755, p. 120 ), Glossy Cardstock (V-216, p.112), Ink, and a heat gun.
This card uses Bird Cage T-3057 from Serendipity, Cute Curliques T-2878 and Life Thoughts T-2877 from the Fall/Winter 2008 catalog.
Stamp your images onto glossy cardstock. Let dry. When completely dry, cover the ENTIRE cardstock with versamark. Emboss with iridescent embossing powder and heat set. That is all there is to it! Simply "dazzling"!
Just to make it extra special, all orders of at least $30 that include this new stamp set from the Serendipity will receive 10% off the entire order (some limitations may apply). Mention this "ad" when you place your order to receive your discount. This offer expires May 29, 2009.
Those who are on my mailing list: watch your email. I will be offering this class again beginning in August. We will begin at the beginning of the class so you can have your own rolodex box full of beautiful ideas!
