One of my goals this year is to try to use some of my stamp sets that I have not used much. If you're like me, you have LOTS of stamps, but end up using your favorites over and over and the rest just kind of sit there. I want to change that. I have LOTS of stamps and I'm sure new favorites are lurking within just waiting to be discovered. This is one that I did for a swap group I belong to. The challenge was to make a thank you card using Navy and Pink. I chose 4x4 for my card size. Here is what I came up with:
I have been a little leary of posting cards using my copic markers. I just need so much time to practice with them. I consider myself an amateur for sure, but I might as well let you learn with me. I used a technique on the curtains called "Cross Hatching". It gives them a texture. I colored the flowers with R85, then used a colorless blender to remove some of the color to give them some depth also. The picture doesn't show this very well. You can see the difference in color if you look closely.
