My little girl LOVES Pandas!  Yes, they are definitely her favorite. I'm NOT going

to tell you how many she has. When I joined A*Muse and ran across

this stamp set......well, let's just say it was one I just HAD to

have! LOL

Here is a cute little card I made using the panda. It is a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4, one

of my favorite sizes to work with. I used the Woodgrain/Harlequin

impression plate to make the sage cardstock take on a

wood effect. I liked the results very much.

Christmas Cards

I normally do not post all my card designs from my monthly make n takes. (I make you come to find out!) But since it's Christmas.....I decided to share them. This month we made 2 of each design so that everyone could have 6 cards ready to mail.

This first one is my favorite. It is so simple, but tells the story of Christmas. My daughter took the picture with her favorite Christmas Bear holding the card!

Fruit of the Spirit

This is a kind of tribute card to a very old set from The Angel Company. The stamp set was called Fruit of the Spirit and was one I always really liked. I didn't get a chance to use it as I bought it close to when it retired. It is one that I have decided I will hang onto and not get rid of.  It will just remain in my personal collection. I thought of it because I had to do a swap that had something on it that began with "K".  Everyone needs a little kindness!

One More Ruffles

Ok...I promise this will be my last Ruffles!  I can't take credit for this card. I saw one almost like it in a magazine and just duplicated with Willoughby Soar With It Collection. That's one of my favorite papers and it just worked perfect with Ruffles. I did not add any color, just stamped the image. So easy! Another post geared toward the Savvy Projects Blog. This one is a Z-fold card. I have not made one of these in a while. I like the way it turned out.  They also stand up nice for display if you give them to someone. I used the liquid applique with a heat gun on the lamb. What fun! The inside simply says "Happy Spring".

More Ruffles

Ruffles is the February Stamp of the Month. Until February 28th, you can purchase Ruffles for just $7.95.  It is rather funny how these stamps can grow on you.  I have really come to love Ruffles!  He is almost one of the family.  But then we are all dog lovers. I can't remember not having a dog as part of the family.

This card was super simple.  These colors work good for those hard to make masculine cards.

I Made You a Kite

Be Lifted is one of my favorite sets in the Fall Supplement.  It was a lot of fun making this card.  I kind of felt like I was making a real kite and would soon be off in the field trying to get it in the air.  Some nice words come with this set also.  I used the Faux Cloud technique in the background. There is some stickles on the kite tail. Those little circles are simply holes punched out with my regular size hole punch.  I wanted to get the look of brads without going through the cardstock and leaving them show on the inside. One of my pet peeves! The inside simply says "may God's blessings lift you higher and HIGHER!"
